Hamilton was founded in the United States in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and established itself as one of the world’s most important watchmakers and was among the first to achieve rational mass production of accurate timepieces.. At one point in its business life it stopped selling to the public as it was commissioned by the US Armed Forces to produce only military watches.
This fine example here is from the 1970s what with the day complication at 6 and was made in Switzerland where Hamilton moved its manufacturing after 1969. Stainless Steel case still has its original brushing.

Sweep hand has some faint rubbing and hour and minute hands have lost their lume. Dial has some spotting patina apparent only on a loupe and at certain angles.
