Longines Ultra-Chron

The Story
By the banks of the Suze river, the site Les Longines or “the wide meadows”, was where the watch company established by Auguste Agassiz in 1832 chose to settle and build their manufacture. They were also among the very first to register their tradename and classic winged hourglass logo when the concept of intellectual property was still fluid. Their most early timepieces are recognized to be the best in the world at that time with their legendary movements and their early historical achievements in navigation.

This watch with the nice linen dial is the second version of the Ultra-Chron which beats at 28000bph and is in an unpolished case with brush marks still apparent and beveling on the lugs still sharp. One detail that really stands out for us is the asymmetric and offset date window that makes this watch look special.
